Giorgio Ippolito
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” in 2009 with a score of 110/110 cum laude and in 2010 he qualified for the medical profession at the same University.
In 2014 he was selected for a “Visiting Fellowship” in Shoulder Surgery at the Reading Shoulder Unit (UK) directed by Prof Ofer Levy and Prof Steve Copeland.
He specialized with a score of 70/70 cum laude at the “Sapienza” University of Rome in 2015.
In 2017 he obtained a two-year university master’s degree in “Biomechanics, pathology and treatment of the upper limb” (formerly shoulder and elbow surgery) at Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna.
He currently carries out his surgical and clinical activity at the Orthopedic Traumatological Surgical Institute (ICOT) in Latina and at Villa Betania-Giomi in Rome.
He is the author of numerous scientific works published in national and international journals with particular interest in shoulder pathologies and the biomechanics of the musculoskeletal system.
He has participated in numerous conferences, meetings, cadaver labs and national and international courses as a speaker and learner with particular emphasis on shoulder surgery.
